Project Limits
- E. North Avenue from Aisquith Street to Washington Street (1200- 1900 Blocks)
General Proposed Features and Project Scope
- Streetscape improvements based on community preferred alternative including roadway pavement resurfacing, base repairs, concrete bus pads, street trees, pedestrian and roadway lighting, signing, pavement markings (incl. crosswalks), minor drainage and utility improvements; new traffic signal at Aisquith Street
- Priority Areas: (1) Aisquith to Hope Streets; (2) Harford Road to Caroline Street; (3) N. Broadway to N. Register Street; (4) N. Durham Street to N. Wolfe Street
- Priority Area improvements can be viewed in the project renderings. The priority areas will receive the following additional treatments: stamped concrete sidewalks, replacement concrete sidewalks, brick pedestrian curb bump-outs, new curb, ADA pedestrian ramps and driveway aprons

- New street trees in expanded tree pits
- Potential water quality improvements at bump-outs
- New pedestrian bump outs, sidewalks, crosswalks, and ADA ramps

Estimated Cost
- $5 Million for Design & Construction
- Funding Source: 80% Federal (SAFETEA-LU Earmark), 20% Local (Motor Vehicle Revenue)
